HAPPY PINK SATURDAY...

and welcome to some nostalgic photos of my garden from years past. Spring takes sooooo long to arrive here I just had to take a trip down memory lane today. It is cold and raining outside and the thought of playing in my garden barefoot is on my mind. I bought 4 packs of seeds for $1 this week. Who knows when I will be able to put those little buggers in some potting soil. Of course they are annuals of Giant Zinnias so it looks as though I may have to wait another month or so. Although last night the weatherman did say this week would be in the 70s.

For all of you lovely ladies who already live in the warmer climes, enjoy your gardens. Until I can run barefoot in my own field of posies, I will just escape and look at my garden photos.

Have fun this weekend wherever you live.

Thank you to our lovely Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for her efforts in pulling together this wonderful event each week.

I was just turned on to this amazing shop by Cassandra of "An Artful Adventure". We are in the process of doing an Easter Egg Carton Swap and some ladies couldn't find the exact type of egg carton we needed. Cassi sent us an email about this shop and I am blown away by all the wonderful goodies you can buy here. I think you will absolutely love it.

Check it out some time and feast your eyes on some amazing craft goodies, party favors, and loads of other great ideas.

MY LITTLE CHICK-A-DEE

Spring has officially arrived, at least it has here at my home. What is better than the pastel colors of flowers, the rich greeness of the grass and a pretty, glittered birdhouse? A vintage Lefton chick maybe? I think so!

I've decided this will be my last Easter creation of the season. I couldn't resist making one more item with those adorable Vintage Lefton Chicks. A hydrangea basket is the new home to "My Little Chick-a-dee" along with glittery chicky postcards, eggs, grass, pearls, vintage lace, seam binding, silk flowers and a pastel birdhouse. A sweet combination and a perfect centerpiece to leave out all year long.
